I genuinely believe in the value of portraiture. I see the deeply personal meaning and significance that portraits of our loved ones hold. In fact, portraits increase in value over time. And, when those we love are no longer with us, those portraits become invaluable! Every time I look at a portrait of someone I love, I am brought back together with them. That is why I do what I do and that is what I want to create for you. I intentionally offer high-end, luxury products to display what will become one of your most treasured possessions. These luxury folio boxes & custom framed fine-art prints will be treasured for generations. My style is often described as elegant, stylish and classy. I photograph women, men, teens, couples, bridal, maternity, dance, headshots & personal branding. All of my sessions include a wardrobe consultation, styling and professional hair and makeup. I also guide you in posing throughout your entire shoot, so you don’t need to be an experienced model to look like one. My sessions are not rushed, by intent, to allow ample time to create photos with beautiful lighting and posing for all body types. Every finished portrait I deliver receives high-end retouching and a signature edit. My life experiences are unique strengths that I bring into my business. Years spent in arts marketing, image consulting, education, modeling and dance shape my work and help to bring a better experience to my clients. Often, people put off something like a portrait session until tomorrow. But the years go by much too fast and sometimes that ‘tomorrow’ never comes. One of my favorite quotes and a driving idea behind my work is, “A year from now what will you wish you had done today?” by Liam Linisong. Don’t put off having your portraits taken. Give your loved ones something to remember you by both now and in the future. Portraits are a way to freeze time. And, whether you choose me as your photographer or another professional, don’t put it off. There is immense value in a portrait. -Annarose Monroe
