How it Works

Photographers now have the opportunity to submit their images and receive live feedback from our expert masters. These small, personal sessions will allow you to gain knowledge, insight, and constructive critiques on your photographs as well as the chance to listen to reviews on the work of 9 other professionals. Don’t miss this NEW one-of-a-kind opportunity!

You, along with other participants, will join the Folio Review session over Zoom with your two masters!

You’ll bring up to 5 photos you would like reviewed by the masters. Each participant will get 10 minutes of critique. Please note, you may not be able to receive a critique on every image, so present in top priority order.

You’ll receive priceless feedback from our expert, master photographers that will help you take your craft to the next level!

Meet the Masters

Nikki

Nikki Closser is a portrait photographer and host of The Portrait System podcast. Nikki built a hugely successful photography business that not only afforded her to quit her job as a social worker, but gave her the ability to support her family (and her travel obsession). Nikki has been working alongside Sue Bryce for the last decade and she is a mentor to other photographers through the SBE & TPM communities and with her own course, The Personal Branding System. She reached the Master level with the Portrait Masters and has photographed thousands of people over the years. Nikki currently lives in Michigan with her husband and two young sons where they split their time at their lake cottage and home in the country.

Saray

Saray Taylor-Roman is a Master portrait photographer with The Portrait Masters. She reached Fellow Status earlier in 2019 with 5 times the requirement for silver merits. She currently has 55 silver awards with The Portrait Masters. She also has earned her first four silver awards in her first year of submissions to WPPI.  Saray specializes in Personal Branding and Fine Art portraits and most of her awarded work is what she created for her regular  clients. She has been working as a print handler for the annual WPPI Print Competition since 2018 which also has given her an edge when it comes to curating her own submission work and that of her mentees. She has been supporting Sue Bryce for workshops, folio builds, and The Portrait Masters Conference both domestically and abroad since 2017. Before discovering her photography passion, she was a high school teacher which is one of the reasons why her mentoring and folio review clients love to work with her. She is able to break down complex processes and offer constructive criticism that leads to action.
Since the summer of 2018, her monthly sales have averaged her yearly salary as a first year school teacher. Since then Saray has worked one-on-one with photographers all over the US and abroad to help them create a portfolio they love, adjust their pricing for profitability and sustainability, and develop custom marketing plans to get them bums on seats and ultimately reach financial and time freedom.
