On the shoulders of giants

“If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” ~Isaac Newton

There are three Men in my life that you need to know. They are Craig Swanson, George Varanakis and Aaron Andersen. They have been a huge part of your current education and you didn’t even know it. George booked me in 2011 to speak at WPPI and I was launched into the U.S market of photography as an educator and speaker, he definitely believed I could do it long before I did. To me it’s that moment when someone gives you an opportunity to step up in your own self that really makes a difference, and that to me was the moment. I have always held myself back (mostly self inflicted doubt) but I had so much to share and teach and say and I knew I wasn’t owning the calling inside me to STAND up and start being out loud the person I was inside. George your ability to build relationships is quite extraordinary and your knowledge and experience of this industry is prodigious and I thank you for being an incredible friend and coach, you truly are my Ari Gold and my voice of reason and the most grounded I ever feel.

In 2012 Craig Swanson had co-founded Creativelive and when he asked me to teach a workshop on this platform well, the rest as you all know is history. What you may not know is I walked into that building and connected with one of the most talented content/business creators I had ever met, we have been kindred ever since, I have never met another human being that spends more time in creating than this man. Everything Craig builds is to help, organize and enhance peoples lives and he has a great gift for doing this. If you have ever sat in a room and thought of something and watched it birth into an idea and then a concept and then form it into a system and actually breath life into it and empower it, and instead of getting caught up in ALL THE REASONS you will fail you are just lost in the complete joy of creating something from your heart and soul, that would accurately describe a meeting with Craig and I. Craig I thank you for every conversation we have ever had.

There were three people sitting opposite me in 2012 when I pitched the idea of teaching 28 Days, they are these three people Aaron Andersen produced 28 days in the trenches with me every day and he is without doubt the best producer I have ever worked with. I am an artist and a creator I can make content in my sleep but you would not see it or experience it if he did not reign in the crazy and harness this wild horse. Aaron is the calmest most efficient human being I have ever met and he is an extraordinary producer, Aaron I am simply in awe of you, you have a skill set that astounds me. I thank you.

I built a relationship with these three Men based on love and respect for what we do and why we do it, now they are building more incredible things with me and I am so happy to have this team of giants around me. You will learn more about them in the coming year and connect with them too as we build more education for you on this new website and build businesses you have always wanted. We thank you, all of you. It’s you that motivates us, every day to create more, share more, learn more, be more watching you grow is the reason I am here and my heart explodes.

Here is the official press release.
